After comparing a few options, I went with the Sur-Ron Light Bee L1e (Road Legal) — good call. Not street-legal where I live, but as a trail bike it's excellent. It's not lightweight at 58 kg, but that's expected given the build. Build quality feels premium, not cheap plastic.

Ordered the Sur-Ron Light Bee L1e (Road Legal) for my daughter and she loves it. Top speed is right around 45 km/h, which feels well controlled rather than twitchy. Took it off-road the first weekend and it handled the trail without issue. Exactly as described on the product page — no surprises.
