After comparing a few options, I went with the APOLLO EVO RACING 18 — good call. The 1kW motor has plenty of pull, even on inclines. Pedal assist kicks in smoothly, doesn't feel jerky at all. Would recommend to anyone considering one.

First bike I've owned in this category, and the Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 X set the bar high. Took it off-road the first weekend and it handled the trail without issue. Top speed is right around 90 km/h, which feels well controlled rather than twitchy. Worth the price for what you get.

I was skeptical about ordering online, but the Sur-Ron Light Bee L1 (EU) arrived exactly as described. Range has held up close to the advertised 75 km on my usual routes. Not street-legal where I live, but as a trail bike it's excellent. Build quality feels premium, not cheap plastic.

Been riding the Talaria Dragon 2025 for a few weeks now and it's exceeded expectations. Not street-legal where I live, but as a trail bike it's excellent. It's not lightweight at 100 kg, but that's expected given the build. Worth the price for what you get.

Solid choice if you're on the fence about the Veleco Draco. Very stable at low speeds, which matters a lot for my use case. Charging takes a while (around 10h), so I just top it up overnight. Exactly as described on the product page — no surprises.
