Been comparing several brands and the Sur-Ron Light Bee L1e (Road Legal) came out on top. The 6kW motor has plenty of pull, even on inclines. Top speed is right around 45 km/h, which feels well controlled rather than twitchy. Worth the price for what you get.

After comparing a few options, I went with the DUOTTS F26 — good call. Top speed is right around 25 km/h, which feels well controlled rather than twitchy. Pedal assist kicks in smoothly, doesn't feel jerky at all. Wish the manual was clearer, otherwise no complaints.
